Dragon is a species in Dota Auto Chess.

"Dragons were among the first creatures to exist on this ancient land. They possess unimaginable powers, deep within, which they like to show off when they commune together."

  • Two out four dragons have two species; Puck (elf/dragon) and Dragon Knight (human/dragon).

Dragon is very hard to build but strong nonetheless thanks to 100 starting mana. They start to shine when at 2 stars or more. The most impactful effect is for Viper and Dragon Knight. A 2 stars Viper ultimate is a guarantee kill in most stage of the game over 5 seconds with the additional effect of crippling the target attack speed unless the target has enough magic resistance. With 100 mana at the beginning of battles, it is almost guaranteed to cast 2 which results in 2 kills. Dragon Knight is generally useless without dragon form and the Dragon species bonus solves that problem. The poison, slow and AOE damage is very valuable in the later game and can be a game changer. Also with the Human species bonus, he is capable of disarming multiple targets at once. Finally Puck, its spell deals damage on the straight line. With proper positioning, it can hit most of the enemy at the beginning of the fight for free damage.

Dragon species can be combined with Elf (Puck), Human and Knight (Dragon Knight). Assassin is available but not recommended.
